Embrace Imperfection…or Why I’m a Recovering Perfectionist and You Should Be Too
Updated: Jan 11, 2018
In this episode, I attempt to tackle my nemesis: perfectionism. The perfectionist tendency can draw you out of the moment and away from happiness. Imperfectionism leads to presence, a powerful happiness tool. In today’s challenge let’s learn to embrace the gift of imperfection.
Perfectionism means you restrict your world: you will not try things you are not good at, or just not try things at all, despite that research tells us trying novel things is an important piece for increasing happiness.
Recovering from perfectionism means sinking into the present moment.
When we leave behind perfectionism, we can start to become more present.
